Newcomers Resettlement Support Services
The LHF provides virtual settlement to newcomers in Canada.
The services are provided in groups via the Information Sessions/Webinars or on a one-on-one basis by taking prior appointments. The LHF team provides a suitable communication tool to establish connections at the time of the meeting.
The settlement services will include but not be limited to the following services.
Housing
LHF can help you find market rent or subsidized housing in Canada through one-on-one counselling to determine your needs.
If you are looking for subsidized housing, the worker can assist you with guiding or referring to right resources to filling out and submitting application forms, as well as with understanding how subsidized housing works.
